✉️ How to Send a Message to Staff with the RPhone

The RPhone’s messaging feature is a HIPAA-compliant way to quickly text or call co-workers who are currently logged in.

1. Click the Messaging button on the Main screen to display the Buddies List.
2. Click the buddy’s name to message or call them.
3. If the buddy is active, choose Message to open the Chat Window. If inactive, the Chat Window opens automatically.
4. View the conversation log. Messages you send begin with “Me:”.
5. Click in the Message textbox, type your message, and click Send.

🔵 Buddy Status Colors

• Purple: Active buddies in your Notification Group.
• Black: Active buddies outside your Notification Group.
• Gray: Inactive buddies, listed alphabetically.
