How to Record ADLs on the RCare iOS App
🧾 What are ADLs?
The RCare Mobile app can be used to log visits with residents when you assist them with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, bathing, and more. These visits may or may not begin with a resident call or incident alert.
✍️ How to Record ADLs on the RCare Mobile App
- When you enter the resident’s room, tap the ADLs button on the Main Screen.
- On the ADLs screen, tap Manual Start ADL. The Activity of Daily Living screen will appear with a timer.
- Select the resident you are helping:
- Tap the + button to open the Select Resident screen.
- Tap the resident’s name (a checkmark will appear), then tap OK.
- When finished assisting the resident, stop the ADL timer by tapping the Stop ADL button.
- Select the activities performed during your visit:
- Tap the + button to open the Select ADLs screen.
- Tap each activity performed to add it to the list, then tap OK.
- (Optional) Add a comment about the visit:
- Tap the + button to open the comment section.
- Type your comment, then tap Save.
- Tap the Save ADL button to complete the record.

Step One: Tap ADLs on the Main Screen.
Step Two: Tap Manual Start ADL to start timer.
Step Three: Select the resident you are helping.
Step Four: Stop the ADL timer when finished.
Step Five: Select all ADLs performed.
Step Six: (Optional) Add a comment.
Step Seven: Tap Save ADL to finish.
