The Help Button is a Resident Device. The resident presses it to request help.
⚙️ How It Works
When the resident presses the button, a signal is transmitted to the nurse call system, and an active incident is created. A notification is sent to caregivers, and the red LED light on the device begins flashing.
- Press and hold the button for 8 seconds. The LED will flash when pressed and again after 8 seconds.
- Release the button after the second LED flash. (If you don’t see the second flash, you haven’t held it long enough.)
❓ Why Reset?
- Changes the incident status from “Active” to “Open.”
- Stops all caregiver devices from alerting for this incident.
