How to Use a Motion Sensor
🕹️ What is a Motion Sensor?
A Motion Sensor is a Passive Resident Device, typically placed where motion is not expected. It triggers an incident when it senses movement.
⚙️ How It Works
When motion is detected, a signal is sent to the nurse call system, creating an active incident. A notification is sent to caregivers. Motion Sensors are often used with a Time Schedule—for example, only at night when the resident is expected to be asleep.
🔄 How to Reset a Motion Sensor
There is no reset for the Motion Sensor device. Another device, such as a push button, is used to reset it.
