How to Use a Bedside Station
🛏️ What is a Bedside Station?
The Bedside Station is a wall-mounted device that allows other devices (like pendants or sensors) to be plugged in.
⚙️ How It Works
When a connected device is activated, the bedside station sends a signal to the nurse call system, creating an active incident and notifying caregivers. The LED light flashes to indicate a call was sent.
🔄 How to Reset a Bedside Station
Press the red Reset button. The LED light will turn off.
❓ Why Reset?
- Changes the incident status from “Active” to “Open.”
- Stops all caregiver devices from alerting for this incident.
