How to Receive a Message with RCare Mobile

💬 What is a Message?

The RCare Mobile messaging feature allows staff to send text messages to each other when help is needed. You can message one person or a group. Messaging works with staff who are currently logged into the RCare Mobile app.

📥 How to Receive a Message

You’ll know you have new messages when:

• An orange dot appears on the Messages (envelope) icon at the bottom of the Main Screen.
• An orange dot also appears on the Message button.
• The number inside the dot tells you how many new messages you have.

📝 Step-by-Step Guide

Step One: On the Main screen, tap the Messages button.
Step Two: On the Messages screen, look for an orange dot next to a co-worker’s name. The number inside the dot shows how many new messages are from them. Tap their name.
Step Three: A popup screen will appear. Choose Message to open the Message Log screen.
Step Four: In the Message Log, you’ll see both messages you received and sent, with the most recent at the top. Tap a message to read it.
Step Five: To reply, type your message in the field and tap the Send Arrow.
