How to Broadcast a Message to Staff

📢 How to Broadcast a Message to Staff

What is a Broadcast Message? A way to send a text message to multiple caregivers at once, such as during an emergency.

How to Send a Broadcast Message:

  1. Click the Messaging button on the right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Click the Broadcast Message button at the bottom of the Messaging screen.
  3. Type your message in the popup window’s textbox. The virtual keyboard will appear when you touch inside the textbox.
  4. Note: Press Enter to move to the next line. Press Return when done typing.
  5. To send the message:
    • Broadcast to My Group: Sends to all caregivers in your Notification Group.
    • Broadcast to All Users: Sends to all logged-in RCare Mobile users across all groups.
    • Dismiss: Cancels without sending.

Note: Recipients won’t know the message was sent as a broadcast.
