How to Edit or Delete a Device
📟 What are Devices?
Resident Devices: Transmitting devices used by residents to call for assistance, such as pull cords, push buttons, or pendants.
Passive Devices: Sensors like smoke detectors, contact sensors, or motion sensors that send notifications automatically.
Note: All devices must be added to a resident's account so caregivers can receive alerts.
🛠️ How to Edit or Delete a Device
- From the RCare web interface, click Accounts in the main menu to open the Accounts screen.
- Click on an account name to open the Edit Account screen.
- Scroll to the Wireless Devices section to view the list of devices.
- Click the device name link to open the Edit Device screen.
- To Edit: Make the desired changes and click Save Changes.
- To Delete: Click the Delete Device button.
