How to Schedule Reports

📅 Why Schedule Reports?

Reports can be run on demand, but they can also be scheduled to run automatically on a set schedule. This is useful for reports that need to be generated regularly, such as daily or weekly.

🛠️ How to Schedule Reports

  1. From the RCare web interface, click Reports in the main menu to open the Reports screen.
  2. Scroll to the Scheduled Reports section to view the current list.
  3. Select a report type from the Add Schedule Report Type dropdown, then click Add to open the parameters screen.
  4. Fill in the required scheduling information:
  • Report Name: How it appears in the Scheduled Reports list
  • Report Format: PDF, HTML, or CSV
  • Time: When the report should run
  • Active Days: Days of the week the report should run
  • Send Report To: Email recipients
  1. Click Schedule Report to finalize.

📝 How to Update or Delete Scheduled Reports

  1. To update: Click the report in the Scheduled Reports list, make changes, then click Update Schedule.
  2. To delete: Click the report in the list, scroll to the bottom of the parameters screen, and click Delete Report.
