🚨 How to View an Incident with the Caregiver Console
How does an Incident Begin? When a resident activates a device (e.g., pull cord, button), a signal is sent to the nurse call system, creating an active incident and alerting caregivers.
Incident Lists:
- Active incidents appear on the Active Incident List, with the most recent first.
- Emergency device incidents appear at the top.
- Click the Resolved tab to view responded incidents. Click Active to return.
- A red square with the number of active incidents appears next to the Incidents button.
- The magnifying glass icon is red for unclaimed incidents and yellow when claimed.
Incident Details:
Click the magnifying glass to view:
- Incident summary: number, resident name, caregiver name, time, duration, room number, triggering device.
- Log tab: Shows technical event sequence.
- Notes tab: Displays added notes.
Big Board View:
Displays incident details without personal data. Use in public areas like hallways.
