🚀 Quick Start

  1. Power On / Off

    • Press and hold the Power/Menu key to switch the radio on or off.
  2. Talk & Listen

    • Hold PTT (Push-to-Talk) to transmit.
    • Release PTT to listen.
    • Keep the microphone 2.5–5 cm from your mouth when speaking.
  3. Change Channels

    • Select channel via Menu → Zone / Channel, or use programmed keys (Zone Up/Down).
  4. Adjust Volume

    • Press Volume + or Volume – to set speaker volume.
  5. Lock / Unlock Keypad

    • Press Menu + P1 to lock.
    • Press any key + P1 to unlock.
    • Or enable via Menu → Settings → Radio Settings → Keypad Lock.

⚠️ Safety & Use Warnings

  • Maintain at least 2.5 cm distance from body when transmitting.
  • Do not operate near fuel stations, explosive materials, or while refueling.
  • Use only Hytera-approved chargers, batteries, and accessories.
  • Avoid high heat, dust, moisture, or direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • If smoke, odor, or malfunction occurs, power off and remove the battery immediately.

🔧 Basic Operations

  • Zone & Channel Selection

    • Up to 16 zones with 16 channels each.
    • Select via Menu → Zone or programmed Zone keys.
  • Scanning

    • Enable via Menu → Scan → On, or use programmed Scan key.
    • Radio pauses on active channels, resumes scanning afterward.
  • Monitor Mode

    • Press Monitor key to hear weak or unmuted signals.
  • Call Services

    • Private Call: One-to-one communication.
    • Group Call: Communicate with a predefined group.
    • All Call: One-way voice call to all users on a channel.
  • Messages

    • Supports up to 10 quick text messages.
    • Inbox saves 10 received messages (oldest overwritten).
    • Outbox saves 10 sent messages.
  • Radio Settings

    • Adjust power level (High/Low), squelch, LED indicator, backlight, tones.
    • Enable covert mode for silent operation.
